APDCAT presents in Girona the Recommendation 1/2010 regarding the person responsible for processing

Presentation in Girona of Recommendation 1/2010 regarding the person responsible for processing in the provision of services by entities in the Catalan public sector.

The Catalan Data Protection Authority organises in Girona a day-long conference to present its 1/2010 Recommendation.

The aim of the recommendation is to define the responsibilities of each of the parties along with the key elements in contracts or agreements, the subject matter of which may entail personal data processing.

To this end, the APDCAT has set out to provide a tool which may prove useful to entities in determining the legal basis and effects of, and security measures applicable to the processing of data deriving from the outsourcing of public services.

This symposium will take place on 25 May in the Casa de Cultura, pl. de l'Hospital 6.
